The most common question in chat: “Where do I buy a good prebuilt PC?” My honest answer: from friends. MAD Gaming from Wilhelmshaven, Germany, builds my BastelNerd PCs, and I tuned every single configuration myself.

I'll tell it like it is: there was even a better offer, from a really big vendor. But with a company that size, everything runs through third parties. You don't get a direct line to the people who actually make the decisions.
MAD Gaming is different. Matthias, one of the two owners, is a good friend of mine. I always talk to him directly, there's no agency in between. When I'm streaming and someone from the community has a problem, I send him a voice message or a text. A few minutes later I have an answer. I've done that so often that I've stopped counting.
And I'm not tied to anything when it comes to hardware. I say: “Listen, I'd like exactly this power supply and this graphics card, combined with that case.” And that's exactly how it gets built. Every BastelNerd PC is tuned by me, part by part.
“When something's on fire, I send Matthias a voice message. A few minutes later the answer is there.”
No agency, no detour through third parties. I always speak directly with Matthias, so whatever moves the community lands straight with the owner.
I don't have to take whatever happens to be in stock. Power supply, graphics card, case: I decide.
I put together every configuration myself, exactly the way I'd recommend it on stream.
In the beginning I had no reach, no partners, nothing. Building PCs for customers was my side income, and it was fun. But every PC sold also brings a customer who rightly needs help when something's off, whether it's hardware, drivers or software. As a one-man business I can't provide that the way you deserve.
On top of that, so many manufacturers now ask whether I'll test their hardware and whether you'd be interested in it, that there's simply no time left for custom builds. That's why my configurations are now available from MAD Gaming, with a team that looks after you when it matters.
The tour was my idea. I told Matthias: if my community is supposed to trust you, it's not enough for me to just say so. So I'll come by and show how you work.
So we went through everything: warehouse, motherboard prep, cable management, cooling, test benches, packaging. Plus honest talks about quality, sources of errors and hardware shortages. Watch it and make up your own mind. The videos are in German.
Together with Markus I build a KnallGas PC in the Corsair Air 5400 and ask him your community questions: what do pros do differently from beginners?
Besides the direct line, there are a few things I haven't seen elsewhere in this form.
Every machine is built by hand in Wilhelmshaven, checked on in-house test benches and fully set up: Windows 11 Pro installed and activated, all drivers installed, BIOS updated, XMP/EXPO enabled, fan curves set for the case, CPU and graphics card. Then an intensive stress test, and no bloatware. You unbox it, switch it on, install your games and get going.
The fan curves are always tuned. If you want it even quieter and cooler, have the graphics card undervolted right from the factory: less voltage, less heat, same performance. I don't know this as an orderable service from the big system integrators.

Markus has built more than 6,000 PCs. In part 2 of the room tour you'll see how he routes cables, what he pays attention to and why pros do some things differently from us hobbyists.
Video editing, 3D rendering, AI applications: there are dedicated workstations for that. And if you have something very specific in mind, you can talk to MAD Gaming about anything. A small manufactory, just like my PCs.
A warranty upgrade to 36 months is available, and there's support you can actually call. On Trusted Shops, customers especially praise build quality, packaging and friendly support.
Rather build it yourself? Then order the BastelNerd configuration as individual parts, save 5 % with code BASTELNERD and assemble it with my video tutorial. And the most critical part is already done: the CPU is already seated on the motherboard, and the combo has been booted once. No shaky hands while inserting it, no bent socket.
Five lines, from “just works” to “every router within two meters switches to emergency power”. Every configuration tuned by me, all customizable, all available as a kit too.
Tap an option and I'll show you which line fits.

Every BastelNerd PC is also available as a DIY kit: you get exactly the parts of my configuration, save 5 % and build it yourself with my video tutorial. MAD Gaming takes care of the trickiest step: the CPU is already mounted on the motherboard, and the combo has been booted once before it ships to you. With the RAM-BOCK I showed the whole thing, from unboxing to the first boot.
Pick a BastelNerd PC at MAD Gaming and customize it the way you like.
In the last step, “Prüfen und Bestellen” (review and order), tick “Ich habe einen Gutschein” (I have a voucher) and enter BASTELNERD.
The parts come to you, the CPU is already on the motherboard. Grab your tools, start the tutorial, let's go.
Yes, and I'll say it openly: MAD Gaming is my partner, and I get a commission for purchases made through my links. It doesn't cost you anything extra. By the way, I would have earned more with a big vendor. I'm here anyway, because at MAD Gaming I have a direct line and decide on the configurations myself.
Building it yourself is fun, you learn something and save 5 % with the kit. Buying it ready-built gets you a set-up, fully tested system and you don't have to worry about anything. Both are fine, as long as you know what you're buying.
You build it yourself, everything else stays the same: the same 24-month statutory warranty as with the prebuilt PC and the same contact at MAD Gaming if something isn't right. The CPU is already mounted on the motherboard and the combo has been booted once. With the kit you install Windows and do the fine-tuning like fan curves yourself, and in return you save 5 % with code BASTELNERD.
Yes. The BastelNerd PCs are a starting point, and you can swap components in MAD Gaming's configurator.
Yes. MAD Gaming has dedicated workstations for those applications. And if you have very special requirements, call or send an email and explain what you're planning. They'll talk it through with you, not just sell you something.
Then MAD Gaming is your contact, not me: support is available by phone at +49 4421 75 333 00 or by email at [email protected]. You can of course still ask tech questions about building PCs on stream or on Discord.
Not anymore. In the beginning it was my side income, but every PC sold also comes with support, and I can't provide it on my own the way you deserve. On top of that, there are now so many test requests from manufacturers that there's no time left for custom builds. That's why my configurations are available from MAD Gaming, and anyone who wants to build their own will find everything they need on my channel.
Tuned by me, built by friends. Fully set up or as a kit to build yourself, and with code BASTELNERD you save 5 %.
