I used to build PCs for customers myself. But every PC also comes with support, and on my own I can't provide it the way you deserve. That's why my BastelNerd PCs are now built by MAD Gaming in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Matthias, one of the two owners, is a good friend, and I tuned every configuration myself.

About me

“I make content for my younger self: for everyone who's facing the same questions I faced back then.”

Moin, I'm René. Hardware has been my passion since the C64. More than 25 years of experience, hundreds of systems built, from quiet office PCs to custom water cooling. For years I built PCs and streaming setups for customers, up to the “Endgegner” (the final boss) for the streamer Powerflamme.

Today all of that knowledge goes into every video and every stream. My promise: with me there are no stupid questions and no tech jargon. Tech at eye level, and a real love for building PCs.
